Class of 1980

Barbara C. Morris

From Facebook:

Well people, the party’s over.

Our 45 year class reunion was a smashing success! I was honored to work alongside Jevine Lane and Jesse Beales to help make it truly an amazing event. Big shout out to the volunteers and financial contributors who stepped up to help too. It would not have come together without your help. Everything might not have gone exactly as planned, but it was obvious everyone was having a REALLY great time catching up with other classmates. With over 170 people in attendance…for me anyway…there was just no way to catch up with everyone I wanted to. I’m already thinking of SO many classmates I saw from across the space, but never made it over to give a hug to, and say hello. It has really reminded me that, no matter how much time has passed, we all have a connection that will endure for the rest of our lives. Sending a big, sloppy, sweaty, (oy vay, it was hot), hug and a kiss to everyone who showed up. And to those of you who couldn’t make it for one reason or another, you were definitely missed. It’s time now to decompress…and get back to our regular lives. But keep in mind, we’ll do this, (or something similar) again in five years.

With much love,

Barbara Morris (aka Babs)
